Colleen comes to Europe!

Jesse's mom came to Amsterdam this winter for her birthday.
It was clear straightaway that she was ready to throw caution in the wind.  She fully immersed herself into our European lifestyle and we enjoyed every second of her visit.  Here's some pictures from her visit.

She threw herself into the rigorous task of wine tasting.

She embraced the cold wind on the beach with glee.
She rode a bike like a champ weaving in and out of traffic.
She hoofed the stairs to the top of the Cologne Dom and attended a Catholic mass in the German language.
She explored the tunnels that led to hill top castles.
We were really impressed by Colleen's enthusiasm and desire to experience everything possible during her visit.  Her positive spirit and inner joy rubbed off on us!  We loved having her here!
She even taught me how to knit, something I've always wanted to learn.  Here's the finished product one month later:
Ps, We'll save the Grasshopper stories for another time.
